Community Partners

Project Access of New Haven (PA-NH) is the story of a community coming together to serve its neighbors in need. In the summer of 2008, members of the New Haven County Medical Association partnered with local community organizations to explore and address the problem of the expanding number of people without health insurance.

With significant input from community members representing the uninsured, the PA-NH program was tailored to the specific needs of New Haven residents. Project Access consists of doctors, nurses, hospitals, businesses, community organizations, and patients all working toward a healthier community via timely access to necessary medical care.
